2025 Houzz Awards From a Northern Colorado Custom Home Builder

Built By Krueger, a Northern Colorado Custom Home Builder, earned multiple 2025 Houzz awards, including the year’s most‑saved home bar.
This past year, Built By Krueger completed more than 14 large-scale projects across Northern Colorado, spanning custom homes, specialty interiors, and highly detailed finish work. As part of our process, we regularly revisit completed projects to document final photography, track long‑term performance, and provide homeowners with transparent examples of our work.

Much of this documentation is publicly available on our Houzz.com profile, where homeowners leave verified reviews and engage with completed work. As of this year, Built By Krueger has earned 55 verified homeowner reviews with a 4.9-star rating, reflecting consistent feedback across multiple projects, timelines, and scopes of work.

In addition to homeowner reviews, several of our projects were independently selected and featured by the Houzz editorial staff in four national articles during 2025.

Houzz Articles Featuring Built By Krueger Projects

Houzz is one of the largest platforms homeowners use to research home design, remodeling, and construction professionals. Features are not submitted or sponsored, they are selected based on homeowner engagement, saves, and editorial review

In 2025, Built By Krueger projects were featured in the following Houzz articles:

Across these articles, different spaces from a single custom home were recognized for their detailing, proportion, and the consistency of design throughout the project.

What These Features Reflect About Our Work

While recognition is appreciated, these features are ultimately the result of how we approach building:

  • Careful coordination between builder, designer, and architect

  • Attention to proportion, detailing, and long-term durability

  • Building spaces that function well beyond the initial reveal

These projects were not designed around trends or awards in mind. They were built to serve homeowners first, balancing their aesthetics, budget, and construction realities in a way that holds up over time.

This all ties more into how we at Built By Krueger have continued our commitment on building with purpose and building better.

Building in Northern Colorado for Over 26 Years

Built By Krueger has been building homes in Northern Colorado for over 26 years. Our work is rooted in long-term relationships, with homeowners, designers, architects, and trade partners, and a commitment to building projects we’re proud to revisit years later.

Third-party recognition from platforms like Houzz provides an outside perspective on consistency. Still, our most important metric will always be homeowner satisfaction and their willingness to recommend our work.

If you’re researching builders and looking for real-world examples of high-quality construction, these Houzz features offer a verified, independent look at both our process and our results.

Why One Project Was Featured Multiple Times

All four Houzz articles published in 2025 featured spaces from the same custom home project, designed by Ryan Costner of East Slope Design Studio and built by Built By Krueger.

This project continued to perform well on Houzz due to strong homeowner engagement in multiple spaces. Particularly the kitchen, bar, and cabinetry were all being saved and referenced independently. As a result, Houzz editors selected different areas of the home for separate articles throughout the year.

From a construction standpoint, this reinforces an important principle: well-designed homes aren’t defined by a single standout room, but by consistency across the entire project.

How was the Design Put Together?

In my podcast, Built By Insights with Ryan Costner of East Slope Design Studios we go through his background led to his recognized high-performance design.
