Building With Purpose

Happy Winter!

As we wrap up another busy month here at Built By Krueger, we are proud to share an exciting milestone. In the past season, our team completed five homes across Colorado. This included two large-scale home remodels, one full kitchen remodel, and two more specially adapted Homes For Our Troops Homes. As we continue helping build along the Front Range we’re reminded that we enjoy building with purpose.

What Homes For Troops Does

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a national nonprofit that partners with custom home builders to construct specially adapted homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans. These homes are provided at no cost to the Veterans and include accessibility features such as wider hallways, zero entry showers, pull-down cabinets, lowered countertops, and over 40 custom upgrades designed to restore daily independence that go above and beyond standard ADA Compliance.

A Major Milestone for Our Team

This month marked an important achievement for our team and community. We completed our third, and fourth HFOT home in Colorado. We celebrated the Key Ceremony for SSG Bryan Price, and PFC Joshua Kelly where they were handed over the keys to a home tailored specifically to support their long-term mobility and quality of life. These ceremonies are always meaningful moments for both our team and the community, and they serve as powerful reminders of why this work matters.

Our Commitment to Craftsmanship and Community

With over 26 years of experience as a custom home builder in Boulder County, Built By Krueger has completed hundreds of projects ranging from kitchen remodels to full custom homes. Our approach centers around quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and a transparent building process. These values continue to guide every project we take on.

We are proud to be a trusted builder for Homes For Our Troops and to collaborate closely with long-term local partners including architects, designers, trades, and suppliers who share our dedication to doing things the right way. Many homeowners return to us for second projects or refer friends and family, and that trust is something we never take for granted.

As a licensed and insured general contractor, we work hard to ensure every remodel or new home build is managed with attention to detail, thoughtful planning, and respect for the homeowner’s vision.

Looking Ahead to the New Year

As we close out 2025, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the support we have seen throughout the Front Range and Boulder County. Volunteers coming out to help with landscaping, community partners donating time and materials, and neighbors cheering at key ceremonies all show the strength of a community that shows up for one another.

We are stepping into the new year with momentum, purpose, and a continued commitment to building homes and relationships that last as long as the homes we create.

Thank You

Thank you to all of our subcontractors, veterans, and clients, allowing us to build for you.
