Dream First Floor Remodel - Built by Krueger

Natural light now pours into the main living spaces of this beautifully reimagined Lafayette home, setting the tone for a thoughtful and expansive first floor remodel.

Our clients came to us looking to completely transform how their home functioned and felt. The project included removing walls to open up the layout, raising the ceiling in the kitchen and living room, a full kitchen remodel with a stunning custom cabinet package, new windows throughout, an updated office, a redesigned stairwell, and a custom handrail crafted by our in‑house carpentry team.

One standout feature you simply can’t miss is the all‑in‑one coffee bar and bar combination. These retractable cabinet doors were designed to tuck away seamlessly, creating easy access for hosting and gatherings while keeping the space clean and refined when closed.

The fireplace was redesigned to anchor the living room and bring warmth and cohesion to the space. By opening up the living room and removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area, we created a seamless flow that allows each space to connect naturally.

To complete the transformation, new wood flooring was installed throughout the first floor, tying every element together and showcasing the full impact of the remodel. The result is a light‑filled, functional home that feels both elevated and welcoming, perfectly tailored to how the homeowners live today.
